City Prepares 102 Tons Subsidized Beef

Jakarta Provincial Government prepares 102 tons subsidized beef for Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) holders. Moreover, 55 tons of chicken meat are also prepared.

Darjamuni, Jakarta Head Dept. of Maritime, Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP), said total of 157 tons subsidized meat prepared for KJP holders.

“We prepare 157 tons subsidized meat. People are able buying with cheaper price,” he said, Wednesday (6/22).

For beef, his side gives subsidy Rp 50 thousand with assumption of beef price is Rp 89 thousand/kg. Chicken meat subsidy is Rp 25 thousand with assumption of its price is Rp 35 thousand. So it is only sold Rp 10 thousand.

As planned before, the program will be started on June 27 up to July 1. Due to limited stock, only elementary school KJP holders can join the program.

“It’s still trial. That’s why the program is also limited,” he closed.
